Caltex rolls out online game for charity

Caltex, one of the world’s leading energy brands and marketed by Chevron Philippines Inc. (CPI), is helping three charity organizations generate awareness and funding by recently launching an online game called “Captain Bubbly’s Enjoyable Journey”

The game features a hot air balloon which players keep afloat until they reach their destination while dodging obstacles along the way. Obstacles that hit the balloon slow it down and drain the life bar. Game ends when life bar hits zero.

 

Caltex Runs with Red Cross for Training of 1 Million Volunteers

Chevron Philippines Inc (CPI), marketer of high-quality Caltex brand of fuels and lubricants, donated P1 million to the Philippine Red Cross (PRC) recent Million Volunteer Run (MVR) to raise a million volunteers from each barangay in the country and train them in disaster response.

With training cost of P1,000 per volunteer, CPI’s donation will be able to send a thousand PRC volunteers to disaster response training. Also, CPI employees joined the fun run to be able to sponsor more Red Cross volunteers.

 

Caltex Celebrates Diamond Birthday at Hospicio de San Jose

July 2 marked the 75th birthday of global iconic brand Caltex™, an occasion celebrated by former, retired, and current employees of Chevron Philippines Inc (CPI), marketer of the Caltex brand, with the elderly residents of Hospicio de San Jose in Manila.

In keeping with the diamond milestone, at least 75 CPI volunteers visited the Hospicio and partner with elders who were serenaded by the Caltex Chorale. Gift donations of items needed by residents also took place. The event is just one of the many activities CPI has lined up for the communities it cares for in connection with Caltex’s 75th Anniversary.
