Hewlett-Packard Philippines Corp. (HPPC) and the Philippine office of Hewlett-Packard Asia Pacific (HPAP) recently renewed their partnership with the Mapua Institute of Technology, Makati Branch, where a curriculum-integrated HP-UX program was introduced to students taking up Computer Engineering.
The HP-UX program is designed to enable Mapua students to specialize in Hewlett-Packard’s proprietary implementation of the Unix operating system, and attain globally recognized professional certifications.
Hewlett-Packard recently turned over one (1) HP Integrity rx2620 Server to supplement technology courses offered in Mapua’s HP Unix Laboratory. A philanthropic agreement between Hewlett-Packard and Mapua Institute of Technology was signed on the 21st of January, 2009.
