ZenithOptimedia Phils pioneers the first ROI conference in the country

ZenithOptimedia Phils, the country’s only ROI Media Agency, recently held the Philippines’ biggest and first ROI conference at the Mandarin Oriental Manila last May 19, 2009.

Hosted by the always vivacious Tessa Prieto-Valdez, the momentous event was attended by top honchos and marketing executives in various multinational companies, members of the media and industry experts in the country.

With the event theme Maximizing ROI in a Slowdown, ZenithOptimedia aims to provide a venue for discussion on recession and how media can help maximize ROI in a slowdown. ZenithOptimedia, being one of the country’s biggest and most influential media giant and the only ROI Media independent in the Philippines, adheres to the strength of achieving ROI breakthrough and leveraging on the power of media despite the recession.

“It is indeed an honor for ZenithOptimedia Phils to have been the first to lead the media industry in addressing recession through a ROI standpoint. The ROI conference is top billed by ZenithOptimedia’s Guy Abrahams. He is the Regional Director of Communications Planning for Asia Pacific. He is responsible for ZenithOptimedia’s communication and strategic planning capabilities across the region. He was ranked in the UK’s Campaign Magazine as one of the “Top Ten Best Media Thinkers”. Guy shared helpful marketing communication strategies on how to connect with consumers despite the economy’s slowdown.

When asked what sets this conference apart from the many recession-friendly talks and seminars sprouting these days, Guy explained, “the difference is not about spending more or less because of the downturn. It’s about spending differently to drive ROI.”

Other featured speakers include top media icons in the industry, August Benitez – SVP for Customer Development Group, ABS-CBN Network, Leah Nuyda – VP for Entertainment TV Sales, GMA Network and Jeffrey Saez – Media Manager, ADMAX Network Philippines. August Benitez and Leah Nuyda discussed how television can provide an advantage in an economic slowdown while Jeffrey Saez inspired the attendees on how digital advertising can improve ROI despite the recession.

The event culminated with ZenithOptimedia’s affirmation and commitment to its clients of a sturdy partnership especially during the time of a slowdown through solid media plans that will help client weather the recession armed with ZenithOptimedia’s effective strategies, tools and renewed creativity.
