LG makes owning a TV “liberating”

17 Feb

LG Electronics Philippines invites you to grab the chance to own an LG 42” SL 90 TV with BORDERLESS™ design for your home, simply by playing the LG “Online Flight of Freedom” Contest and by getting more points with the help of your friends.

The contest is part of LG’s LIVE BORDERLESS™ campaign, which is in line with LG’s latest design concept, LIVE BORDERLESS™, developed to start a whole new world of television viewing, a world without borders and with infinite possibilities through BORDERLESS™, seamless and limitless LG TVs.

All you have to do is to log on to http://www.lgborderless.com/ph/#/promotions, free one bird from a flock of birds sitting on an island, register and seek the help of your Facebook friends in freeing more birds for more chances of winning.

You also have to answer the question: “What does borderless mean to you?” Each bird freed is considered as one chance to win the LG 42” SL 90 TV. Other actions performed will also award the participant with a relevant number of chances.

LG Electronics (LG), a global leader and technology innovator in consumer electronics, recently introduced the LG SL 90 TV with LED technology and BORDERLESS Design.

“When we were creating the SL90, we had to break down numerous barriers in our minds,” said Raymond Hernandez, corporate marketing head of LG Electronics Philippines. “This was the first time we used our Injection Compression Molding technology for a TV and we had to free ourselves to think of a new BORDERLESS™ design. The TV is free from physical borders and its ability to easily connect to digital media means that its entertainment possibilities are just as BORDERLESS™ as its design.”

The “Online Flight of Freedom” contest runs from February 4, 2010 to April 1, 2010. One winner from the Philippines will be announced in April 9, 2010.
