HTC Magic with ‘unli’ Internet, FREE from Smart Gold

26 Mar

Leading wireless services provider Smart Communications, Inc. (SMART) has unveiled the perfect postpaid bundle for individuals aspiring for the most advanced handset with an ‘unlimited’ data plan that maximizes the phone’s features.

The HTC Magic, the first ‘Android’-powered device to be made available in the Philippines, now comes free, and with unlimited mobile browsing feature at Smart Gold Plans 1800 and 2500.

With the bundle, Smart Gold subscribers will have access to unlimited Internet browsing right in the palm of their hands, with no fear of incurring sky-high data charges on their monthly bill.

“To be truly useful, advanced or Internet-optimized devices such as the HTC Magic must be powered by a wireless network that provides nationwide, high-speed mobile broadband coverage,” said Annie Naval, marketing group head of SMART.

With an HTC Magic handset powered by Smart Gold, mobile users can go online anytime, from wherever they are, and have the ‘real’ Internet experience — posting photos and videos, sharing their ‘status’, updating their blogs, chatting or sending emails, and browsing through their favorite social networking sites — right through the handset. And because it has ‘unli’ access to the Internet, users can stay online as long as they prefer.

The HTC Magic is available for free and with unlimited mobile browsing feature plus P600 worth of consumable voice minutes and SMS under Smart Gold Plan 1800. It also comes free, with unlimited surfing, and P1,300 worth of consumable voice and SMS under Smart Gold Plan 2500.

The handset is also available under Plans 500, 800, and 1200 with applicable cash-out, and the charge for unlimited surfing will be on top of the monthly bill.

Smart Gold offers a wide variety of monthly plans, all offering free or subsidized handsets, free airtime and SMS.
