High-value business process outsourcing (BPO) services provider StarTek recently donated Php70, 000 to Kythe Foundation, a non-stock, non-profit organization serving the psycho-social needs of pediatric patients. The donation was generated through a fund-raising effort undertaken in the StarTek Makati facility. Employees contributed donations by participating in a Bingo tournament.
The donation and fund-raising effort were undertaken as part of StarTek’s Community Matters program, a set of corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives intended to contribute to the communities that host StarTek facilities.
