Globe, a premier telecommunications services provider in the Philippines , showed healthy revenue growth in its fixed line data business during its performance in the first quarter of the year. Globe made P1.2 Billion in broadband revenues from January to March 2010, up 84% year on year, while its fixed line data revenues reached P831 Million, up 16% versus the same period in 2009.
The robust demand from the local outsourcing industry helped sustain the growth momentum in the corporate data business of Globe. Globe Business, the company’s corporate arm, remained strong in the market with the continued expansion of the Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) and services sector.
