Globe has built alliances with 18 respected corporate brands and organizations in the country where it offers customized SIM cards especially designed to address the specific communication and business requirements of each partner-community.

The move is in line with the “Customer First” policy being practiced by the company which puts the needs of subscribers above everything else.

Globe has joined hands with 11 schools, three religious organizations, one non-government organization, and three private companies and is continuously working on similar partnerships with other special groups whose members need constant and efficient communications.

The partner-communities include: El Shaddai, Jesus Is Lord, Couples for Christ, Net25, Avon, Puregold, Gawad Kalinga, La Salle (Taft, Bacolod Cavite), University of Cebu , Silliman University , Central Philippine University, Holy Name University , Lyceum ( Manila and Batangas), Misamis University , University of Makati , Notre Dame of Dadiangas University , and University of Sto . Tomas .

“Each partner is unique, that is why we tailor-fit our services based on the needs of our subscribers and their operational activities. Our products strengthen the link and communication between organizations and their members. We are one with our partners’ advocacies, be it in media and communications, micro-entrepreneurship, livelihood, and nation-building,” said Ferdinand dela Cruz, Head of Globe Consumer Sales.

For instance, the Net25 MyAccess SIM and Puregold Aling Puring SIM both powered by Globe not only provide activity and promotional updates and rewards to their members but also give members a chance to augment their income by becoming sub-dealers or retailers of Globe and TM products and services. Avon SIM users, meanwhile, get latest updates on latest promos from Avon headquarters directly.

In De La Salle University and Lyceum of the Philippines , on the other hand, students can easily check their grades, receive urgent announcements such as class cancellation, and obtain other relevant information related to their school and studies.

For religious organizations, members can get schedules of religious activities as well as a daily dose of Bible verses.

“What we do here, is we talk to them and ask them their needs. Like in schools, it’s about announcements; for Gawad Kalinga, it’s updating volunteers of projects that need their help; for religious communities, daily Bible verses or schedules of religious gatherings. Globe does not only talk about a one-size fits all approach but customizes to meet the demands of unique and diverse communities,” Dela Cruz said.

Aside from the customized SIM content, all Globe partner-communities can now enjoy a significantly reduced call rate of P0.05 per second or P3 per minute to any Globe and TM subscriber. This is 50 percent lower than the original P0.10 per second (P6 per minute) special call rate previously given to them. Regular call rate is P6.50 per minute.

Likewise, Globe also brought down its SMS rates to P0.50 per text message to any Globe and TM subscriber which is 33 percent cheaper than the old rate of P0.75 per SMS. Regular SMS rate is P1 per text message.

The special promo rates provide Globe partners and their members with the ease and relevance of enjoying the lowest call and text rates with no registration requirement.
