Lenovo Helps SMBs Achieve Competitiveness through Technology

The small and medium business (SMB) market will continue to fuel the growth of the Philippine economy this year. According to the Department of Trade and Industry, the government’s goal is to increase the contribution of the SMB sector to 40 percent of GDP (from 32 percent in 2006), with 2 million employed in the SME sector by 2016.

Government statistics show that 99.6 percent of all registered businesses in the country are considered SMBs and among the key factors that will sustain their competitiveness is their ability to manage productivity and efficiency.
