Cisco refreshes its ‘Simply Powerful’ line of Home Networking Solutions

26 Oct

So powerful and easy to setup that a 7-year old girl was able to show to the media how she connects her iPAD2 to a wireless home network using the Linksys E4200 – part of Cisco’s latest Linksys E-series wireless-N routers.

Cisco held the live demo and launch recently at the Peninsula Manila Hotel to highlight the usability of the routers and how the embedded Cisco Connect Software enables users to set-up, connect, and customize their wireless settings to match their individual preferences.

Tang Boon Ping, Cisco Home Networking Business Unit- Asia Regional Sales Director, said, “Cisco’s Linksys E-Series has the performance that drives today’s connected home and caters to the demands of new and emerging media technologies. With solutions that are bound to set the new standard for speed, range, ease-of-use and design in home networking, Cisco brings a decade of leadership and innovation in networking to enable consumers to live a connected life that is more personal, more social, and more visual.”

Included in the products that were launched are the Linksys WES610N Dual-Band Wireless-N Entertainment Bridge, Linksys RE1000 Wireless-N Range Extender Linksys Switches, Linksys AE1000 & AE1200 Wireless-N Adaptor, and the Linksys AE2500 Dual Band Wireless-N Adaptor. This new line-up of Cisco wireless home networking solutions has set the industry benchmarks for speed, range, and ease of use—giving consumers the best wireless networking experience at the comfort of their own homes.
