PTT Philippines Group, one of the country’s leading petroleum firms, recently held a go-live ceremony for its SAP ERP solution implemented by leading full-service business solutions provider Fujitsu Enterprise Solutions.

The development, named Project P2T or “Perform to Transform”, is an SAP ERP ECC6.0 IS Oil and Gas solution designed to enhance operational efficiency and boost business productivity.

The launch took place in Subic Bay Freeport Zone and was graced by PTT Philippines Corporation president and chief executive officer Wisarn Chawalitanon, PTT Philippines Corporation marketing director Sukanya Seriyothin, and PTT Philippines Trading Corporation general manager Danny Alabado, together with Fujitsu Enterprise Solutions consultants.

“Fujitsu Enterprise Solutions is honored to be PTT Philippines’ SAP implementing partner. With the highly successful launch of the ERP ECC6.0 IS Oil and Gas solution, we hope to further support PTT in achieving its business goals for 2012 and beyond,” said Jan Biezepol, Fujitsu Enterprise Solutions Managing Director.

According to Chawalitanon, the implementation is crucial to enabling PTT Philippines to be more competitive in the industry. “Implementing SAP was a tough decision but we need to catch up with the competition and do business in a competitive way.”

The launch was also highlighted by PTT Philippines’ first SAP transaction and an awarding ceremony. The SAP transaction was successfully processed by Chawalitanon using the Financials Module (posting and incoming payment), while Seriyothin awarded Fujitsu Enterprise Solutions with a token of appreciation as PTT Philippines’ SAP implementing partner.
