01 Mar

Asiasoft Corporation, a leading online game operator in South-east Asia, is pleased to have joined forces with Trion Worlds, a global developer and publisher of premium online games, to power the payment of Rift™ digital editions and subscription service in Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.

“We are delighted to be working with such an innovative company such as Trion Worlds and are certain that this will be a mutually successful relationship that will benefit gamers in the region,” said Sherman Tan, Chairman of Asiasoft Corporation PLC. “We are very happy to introduce @Cash as a payment mode in order to allow more gamers in the region to enjoy the deep, immersive online gaming experience that Rift brings.”

The unparalleled success of Rift since the launch last March has garnered much critical acclaim from the gaming media and fans alike, sweeping up “Game of the Year” awards from many gaming websites including IGN, MMORPG and MMOCrunch.

More details regarding the launch of @Cash payment method for Rift digital editions and subscription service, including exclusive Asiasoft promotions, activities and pricing will be announced at a later date.

The announcement follows Trion’s introduction of Rift Lite, a version that allows anyone with a Trion account to experience the game’s first 20 levels at no cost with no playtime restrictions. Both Rift Lite, and the availability of @Cash as payment method, increases accessibility for new players to the game in time to participate in the Carnival of the Ascended, the World Event that promises amazing in-game events, special loot and attractive prizes.
