Lenovo’s IdeaPad UltrabooksTM sashay down the runway

Lenovo recently announced its latest contribution to the PC + [1] era with the incredibly thin and light and ultra-responsive computing devices – the IdeaPad U310 and U410 Ultrabook™. Sleek and chic, the Ultrabooks combine the best features of traditional laptops with the power of the new 3rd generation Intel® Core™ processors, large storage capacity, richly resonant audio, fast boot up, instant resume and prolonged battery life.

Literally as slim as a paperback book, the 13.3-inch (screen size) IdeaPad U310, and 14-inch U410, are ideal for essentially any mobile needs, only measuring 18mm and 21mm thick, weighing 1.7kg and 1.8kg, with up to seven to nine hours of battery life, respectively, on a single charge.

The Ultrabooks supported by solid state drives feature ultra-fast boot up and quick resume from sleep up to 40 percent faster than non-optimized devices thanks to Lenovo’sEnhanced Experience3 optimization for Windows 7. With Lenovo Smart Update, the U310 and U410 automatically update email, IM chats and social media messages even when in sleep mode. The Lenovo U310 and U410 come in a variety of tantalizing colors such as Sapphire Blue, Aqua Blue, Cherry Blossom, Graphite Gray, Ruby Red or Spearmint.

They are powered by 3rd gen Intel Core i5 Processor, 4GB DDR3 memory, 32GB SSD cache and 500GB Hard Disc Drive (HDD) storage for the U310 and 750GB HDD for the U410. For optimal visuals when consuming or creating content, the U310 features Intel® GMA 4000 HD graphics, while the U410 features NVIDIA® GeForce® 610M 1GB graphics. Pricing and Availability

The Lenovo IdeaPad U310 will be available in Singapore/ASEAN starting June 7, 2012 and the Lenovo IdeaPad U410 will be available in Singapore/ASEAN by the end of June. Prices for these laptop models start at USD 749 and USD 799, respectively. Both will be available from Lenovo retailers. Pricing for Philippines will be announced soon.
