Head of Globe Business Jesus Romero (extreme right) provided authoritative insights at the President’s Panel on Diversification Strategy on how information technology-business process outsourcing (IT-BPO) companies should be independent from the US market, during the International Outsourcing Summit held last October 7 to 9, 2012.

A member of the board of the Business Processing Association of the Philippines (BPAP), Romero said that local outsourcing companies should be on the constant lookout for current opportunities to find, and be prepared, for future sources of revenue growth. Globe Business Head of Business Products and Services Division Francisco Fernando Claravall IV likewise gave expert inputs during the Summit’s Technology Breakout session on “BPO 2.0+Mobile and The Cloud,” saying that cloud and mobile technologies today are able to support BPO 2.0 initiatives and that “like the telco industry, which is evolving into the IT-enabled space, BPOs are in the perfect position to provide more value to their current offerings and to better compete in the marketplace.

” Globe Business also sponsored the Summit’s Gala Night highlighting values uniquely Filipino, which was also an opportunity for delegates from different countries to network further.
