Industry leader pilots new innovations through strong trade partnerships

Skil, one of the most recognized and powerful brands in the power tool industry, together with the Chinese business community, are set to welcome the Year of the Water Snake by taking the lead in expanding markets and strengthening ties.

As one of the country’s largest trade partners, the Chinese community has posted a significant impact in commerce and culture. The Chinese-Filipino relationship has contributed significantly to shaping the flourishing business sector and has provided opportunities to empower technology in the country.

With the Philippine economy seeing a strong outlook for 2013, Skil aims to pace trade by collaborating with more local businesses and creating a steady platform for growth in the power tool industry.

“We are looking to invest in sustainable activities with the Chinese corporate community. As a part of the Bosch group, we strive to bring excellence and steer development by recognizing the promise and expertise of both countries,” said Bosch Power Tools Country Sales Director William Go. “We hope to bring new means and solutions that reflect the bond that we have with our customers and partners in the Chinese community.”

Skil’s extensive line of power tools has set the standard for local and global players since 1924. The industry leader aims to build on this triumph by meeting demands while developing new innovations that bank on mobility, reliability, and affordability. Beyond creating efficient products featuring the unique competencies of the Bosch brand, Skil sees a big rise through cultivating its network of world trendsetters that venture into building infrastructures that foster progress.

“The traditions and cultures that were shared by the Philippines and China through the years have driven local socio-economic edge. We wish to further promote these facets as we move towards a bright era of innovation. As we celebrate the Chinese New Year with the community, we will drive our commitment by delivering the best service from all our divisions,” added Go.

Skil will hold its fifth annual celebration of the Chinese New Year alongside the Chinese business sector in Binondo, Manila on February 8, 2013. Multi-titled basketball coach and Skil brand ambassador Norman Black will be joining William Go at the event. Black recently renewed his endorsement contract with the brand and marked their third year of partnership.
