Leading wireless communications provider Smart Communications, Inc. (Smart) has signed a Memorandum of Agreement with the Dumaguete City local government and various stakeholders for the Noah’s Ark Project.
Noah’s Ark is a community-based disaster preparedness training and capacity building program being organized by the Corporate Network for Disaster Response (CNDR) for flood-prone communities like Dumaguete’s Barangay Candau-ay, which was among those hardest hit by Typhoon Sendong in 2011.
