Government-owned hospital acquires Converged Infrastructure solutions from HP

HP Philippines was recently selected by Davao public hospital Southern Philippines Medical Center (SPMC) to upgrade its campus network infrastructure and build a new datacenter that will help the hospital enhance the delivery of healthcare services to the Davao community.

Through HP Channel Partner and ICT services provider Accent Micro Technologies, Inc. (AMTI), HP will supply critical Data Center hardware, with the vision of providing SPMC the agility of a converged infrastructure environment. SPMC is the first government hospital to acquire HP’s Converged Infrastructure solutions in the country.

“Our partnership with SPMC is the first step towards advancing the Philippine healthcare community. HP will implement fully reliable healthcare systems that range from electronic patient data storage to scaling hospital operations for quality patient experience,” said Hewlett-Packard Philippines’ Managing Director and General Manager of Enterprise Group Ryan Guadalquiver.

HP’s comprehensive portfolio of world-class innovations will help SPMC provide superior patient care and proactively manage the business. The five-year project includes automating hospital units to make healthcare more accessible and hospital transactions easier to use.

HP will continue to drive its commitment in the medical industry through its competitive line of computing innovations that increase productivity and accelerate growth.
