Nokia has been using vector maps since 2006, and for the past six years the brand has been developing its navigation offering. At the core of this service innovation are the offline maps and Nokia Drive, which aim to deliver a complete navigation experience.

DBM joins the Cloud revolution, partners with IP-Converge for Google Apps

The Department of Budget and Management (DBM), a government agency responsible for the efficient and proper management of government funds, has recently partnered with IPConverge Data Center, Inc., the country’s first and only publicly listed Internet data center and cloud services provider, for Google Apps for Business — cloud-based email and office productivity tools from the global Internet search giant.

“Through our partnership with IP-Converge, we wish to join several businesses and government agencies in taking advantage of the Cloud Age to improve key areas in our operations, most especially document collaboration. The resulting efficiencies will translate to direct, immediate, and sustainable benefits for the Filipino public through well-delivered services,” DBM Undersecretary and Chief Information Officer Bon Moya said.
