Canon hauls away four Anvils

CANON celebrates with 4 Anvil Awards-Officials of Canon Marketing Philippines, Inc. (CMPI) led by President & CEO Alan Chng (6th from left) flaunts the Anvil trophies they won in the 48th Anvil Awards. Canon received the Anvil Award of Excellence for Bachang Project, a program led by veteran photographer John Chua (5th from left) and composed of a team of Canon employees and volunteers that repaired the Banaue Rice Terraces and removed it from a global list of UNESCO endangered heritage sites. Canon also bagged three Anvil Awards of Merit for Canon Advocacy Team, the 6th annual Canon PhotoMarathon, and Canon Photoskwela. Canon has won six Anvils since it started competing in 2012. Considered the “Oscars” of the public relations industry, the Anvil Awards is an annual competition held by the Public Relations Society of the Philippines to recognize exceptional PR programs and tools implemented in the previous year.

Canon Marketing Philippines, Inc. (CMPI), subsidiary of world leader in imaging Canon, Inc., carted four Anvils during the 48th Anvil Awards ceremonies held at the Shangri-La Hotel in Makati City.
